We have been a single family owned business since 1947. Alphonse Dolecki and his brothers started DEE'S Sport Shop in 1947 after World War II. They mainly delt in sporting goods. When their youngest brother Phil came into the business, they started selling boats in the parking lot. Dee's Sport Shop was one of the original Ski-Doo dealers in the Detroit area. When Allan was a young boy he preferred working for his Uncle Phil in the boat and snowmobile store, over working in the sporting goods. Years later his Father and uncles retired and he started Dee's Marine. (His cousins run Dee's Sport Shop) You can find Al in the store just about every day of the week. In 1994 we moved from Detroit to our current location in Clinton Twp. Currently the third generation is employeed at the shop. Everyone at the shop has many years experiance in the snowmobile and boat field. Over the last 25 Dee's Marine has been involved in Snowmobile Grass Drags, Ice Drags, Sno Cross and rental. We are a supporter of many snowmobile clubs and fundraisers. Many of our employees are involved in the field also. Please visit 'our staff'.
